TINT is starting 2023 by taking a look at artwork from our artists In a New Light. This Retrospective highlights works from previous shows and reveals how curation can change the conversation between works. Sometimes it's not a change that is needed, simply a new vantage point. Artists Jessie Laura and Ning Ma will lead us in a tour of their works currently on display in "Into the Beyond." Hear about Ning's incredible trekking adventures that lead to such awe inspiring photographs; learn about the intent behind Laura's minimalism; and more! TINT's fall show explores the theme of "Into the Beyond" from the perspective of three women artists from three different countries. Chinese-born, Bay Area resident, Ning Ma, captures what it's like to go beyond the bounds of humanity's presence in her landscape photography. From the highest peaks to the lowest valleys, Ning's journey has taken her around the globe to places where few humans have gone.

TINT's fall show explores the theme of "Into the Beyond" from the perspective of three women artists from three different countries. Chinese-born, Bay Area resident, Ning Ma, captures what it's like to go beyond the bounds of humanity's presence in her landscape photography. From the highest peaks to the lowest valleys, Ning's journey has taken her around the globe to places where few humans have gone. Peruvian-born, now SF-based, Jessie Laura explores what happens when we move beyond contemporary culture's onslaught of visual imagery. Stripped from color and representational imagery, Laura's work allows volume, texture, and light to become the focus. Russian born, Finland-based Dasha Pears brings life to the subconscious. Her unique form of storytelling combines design, staging, and photography to create images that are whimsical yet simultaneously meticulous.

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography's mission is to advance the arts, heritage and cultural sector through exhibitions of photographic works as a means for artistic, community and personal expression. The Glasgow Gallery of Photography's Seascapes moves away from Landscapes and Cityscapes, we wanted to see images from the coast with this exhibition. With changing weather, Seascapes can often be dramatic as well as beautiful, this exhibit aimes to showcase the many different aspects of Seascapes.

APG's Trailblazing exhibition showcases works by photographers who have pushed boundaries and explored new frontiers in their art. Ning Ma's landscape photography represents the spirit of trailblazing through her adventures to some of the world's most remote and challenging locations.

ArtSpan's Art-In-Neighborhoods Program serves the city of San Francisco by connecting communities with local artists while activating spaces with locally made art. ArtSpan partners with local businesses and building owners to bring art studios, art exhibitions, and art events to businesses, dormant storefronts, and empty spaces. Local artists, who are ArtSpan members, are given the opportunity to create, display, promote, and sell their artwork in these diverse venues. Cumaica Coffee is a Nicaraguan coffee roastery and cafe with four locations in San Francisco. Since 1993 they've dedicated themselves to roasting and delivering the freshest, most flavorful cup of coffee available in the bay area. They remain connected to their Nicaraguan roots by working with small plantations much like the one started by their family in the Matagalpa mountains during the 1960s. Ornithological in origin, metaphorical in theme, flight is one of the most widely imagined and explored topics in the arts and sciences. For its 7th consecutive year, the Museum asks photographers worldwide to capture the "Spirit of Flight," an unquestionably ubiquitous challenge. This year was no exception. The Museum received nearly 182 entries from around the world. The images selected for exhibition represent seven U.S. states, three Canadian provinces, and Israel. From the outstretched wingspan of a colossal raptor, the painted yellow lines on the grainy, tarmac runway, the twirls of smoke billowing from an aerobatic aircraft, and the flawless engineering of an airplane engine, each artist takes a unique approach to the concept of flight. You can see all 39 of the finalists in The Museum of Flight's Great Gallery until Jan. 11, 2016.

Each in the central atrium of the world's busiest airport: Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. ATL has an average of 260,000 visitors a day. This exhibition well be seen by, literally, millions of travelers from all over the world. Juror Amy Miller, the Executive Director of Atlanta Celebrates Photography, selected two photographs each from 15 photographers to exhibit in the central atrium. APG will produce a catalog of the show which will be gifted to APG donors, supporters and collectors. The show will be on view from September 25th – November 18th, 2015.
